Frogdancer said that her parents thought the Trevi Fountain was quite small so here are some more pictures to give you some perspective.

It’s actually stuck to the side of a building – the Palazzo Poli.

Apparently it’s the largest Baroque fountain in Rome. It utilises an ancient Roman aqueduct for its water.

The square itself is quite small, though its much more spacious than the ancient streets from which you emerge.

I wasn’t disappointed.
