Well, here we are at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. We’ve checked in, bought a few last minute bits and pieces, got some Euros and had a coffee. The plane has been delayed for forty minutes, so I thought I’d buy some internet time.
Mark is practising his Dutch using the Berlitz phrase book. I’m sure we’ll need “Waar is een windsurfplank?”. That means “Is there a windsurfer?”. How about “Ik wil draag een miniatuur molen in de vitrine” – which translates as “I would like the miniature windmill in the display case”.
More to follow.
Dag. That means goodbye. It also means hello.
