Today I walked down to the Lark Lane Farmers’ Market.

It’s held on the fourth Saturday of every month.

There were members of the Liverpool String Orchestra playing.

There were delicious pies and cakes.

There were plants and flowers.

A Hog Roast.

Meats and cheeses. All manner of things.

I bought some scones from the Berry Fresh Bakery.

Raspberry and Peach Jam from Sugar and Spice.

And authentic Italian Nonna Teresa’s Ravioli and Tomato and Basil Sauce from Lucio, an authentic Italian.

I walked past the Sefton Park Library on my way to a car boot sale at a local school. I almost bought two albums of vintage postcards but decided against it.

A nice way to spend the morning.
